About Trey Salinas

Welcome to my volleyball training site! My name is Trey Salinas, and I bring over 15 years of collegiate coaching experience to help athletes achieve their full potential.

Professional Journey:

• Head Volleyball Coach at Grand Island Central Catholic: Present

• Senior Men’s Volleyball Recruiting Coach at National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA): Helped student-athletes achieve their college aspirations through strategic planning and recruitment.

• Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at University of Illinois Springfield: Led the team to historic success, including NCAA national tournaments and setting program records. Trained multiple all-americans.

• Associate Head Coach at Belmont Abbey College (Men’s & Women’s): Contributed to multiple conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances. Trained multiple all-americans.

• Assistant Coach at Metro State University of Denver: Played a key role in coaching a nationally ranked team to conference and regional championships. Trained multiple all-americans.

• Assistant Coach USA Volleyball Youth National A2 Team: Assisted in coaching an Olympic development program.

  achieved top finishes at NORCECA championships and FIVB world championships.

• Head Coach at Bishop Machebeuf High School (Men’s & Women’s): Led the team to conference, regional, and state championships.

My Playing Experience:

• Setter for Johnson & Wales University, Denver: NAIA Volleyball.

• Setter for Buenos Aires Unidos, Argentina: Played in the prestigious la Liga Argentina de Vóleibol.

• Setter for Fundación Cajasol, Spain: Competed in the top-tier Spanish league.
